Pelvic floor treatment
High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIF-EMMS) muscle stimulation for the pelvic floor is a non-invasive treatment that uses electromagnetic energy to induce deep, supramaximal contractions in the pelvic floor muscles. This technology is commonly used to improve pelvic floor strength, treat urinary incontinence, and enhance core stability.
How It Works
•The device generates electromagnetic waves that penetrate deep into the pelvic floor muscles.
•These waves cause the muscles to contract at an intensity that is not achievable through voluntary exercises like kegels.
•A typical session involves thousands of contractions in a short period (e.g., 30 minutes), effectively strengthening and re-educating the muscles.
Benefits
•Improved Bladder Control: Helps with stress, urge, and mixed urinary incontinence.
•Pelvic Floor Strengthening: Beneficial after childbirth, surgery, or for aging-related muscle weakening.
•Non-Invasive & Painless: No surgery, no downtime, and minimal discomfort.
•Enhanced Sexual Health: May improve vaginal tightness, blood circulation, and sexual function.
Recommended treatment times
Two 30 minutes sessions, twice a week, for 3 weeks.

Frequently ask questions
What is it? What does it do?
Magtone is a toning treatment that uses high intensity electro magnetic muscle stimulation to cause muscle contractions, which in turns causes the muscles to tone up, in the same way that doing crunches causes the abdominal muscles to contract and thus tone.
When using the magtone for pelvic floor treatments, the muscle contractions strengthen the muscles under the uterus, bladder and bowel.
How many treatments are needed?
We reccomend on average 6-10 sessions, ideally spaced twice a week.
How long does a session take?
A session is 30 minutes long, but please allow extra time to be set up on the machine.
